It's a new day, it's a new week and so much was accomplished today. One of the great reasons to homeschool is the amount of room for creativity. We decided to express ourselves was to come up with animated video. Elijah came up with the name and story for our video- "The Sleepy Frog". It's about a little being lured to his sleeping pad by the singing of the moon. We did quite well. We used craft paper for the moon and scenery, foam paper for the lily pad, and polymer clay for the frog. It's less than a minute long with Elijah and I singing an altered version of 'Go to Sleep'. We had a wonderful time doing this and he really gets into using the camera. So I plan to add more photo sessions into his schedule as part of art. (Video is located in the side panel.)
I also wanted to share our early evening with you all at the dentist. This was the calmest visit we had encountered. Any other time my little would be screaming from mere touch, not this time. He really did well. I must admit he did act a bit hesitant at first but realized no check-up no new tooth brush. It all worked out. So here's a few photos while there:
